Black people are not a monolith. The threads that make up our collective experiences on earth are so long that they could be woven into a fabric that would cover the earth. Our stories are not uniform and neither are our politics. Stories that paint Black people as a monolith reduce the depth of our humanity and prevent us from building movements that address all systems of oppression.
