This was a good book but... there's only so many times I can read about Taneda getting drunk on sake! Perhaps this book would appeal more to fans of Taneda, or people who are familiar with his work.

This is a great book--well-researched and well-told, but I did not finish it because I am currently studying for my MA and need to read something light and fluffy. I got maybe sixty pages in and got a really good first impression. I hope to come back to it someday because this is a story that needs to be told!
