This was a fun look at the Volsunga saga. The coffee art was beautiful. The story was well-paced. I found the tidbits of backstory BEHIND the story to be quite fascinating, and now I want to know more.
On a personal level, I found Siegfried rather obnoxious as a hero. This wasn't a bad thing though, because now I am curious to see if I would feel the same in reading the actual legend.
On the whole, this is a great intro to the Volsunga saga. The ending is perfect where it stands, but it also could lead to a sequel, so I am wondering what, if anything, will happen next...
