A lot more realistic and gritty

than the Sorcerer Royal books, so beware of that when going into this. It also need as giant (sexual? I did not really understand) assault content warning for the last part of the book.
I did enjoy the read but it was quite a shock coming from the light romance fantasy stuff Zen Cho is writing otherwise.
